| 摘 要： | 英语词汇教学在大学英语教学中的重要性是毋庸置疑的。本文对英语词汇教学中一些普遍理念进行了反思。探讨了词汇量,词汇知识的定义。探讨了大学英语词汇教学现状,提出了改善现状提高教学质量的相应措施。

| Abstract: | No one argues that vocabulary acquisition is of great importance in college English teaching and learning. After reflection on some common assumption in English teaching and learning, the article probes such terms as vocabulary size and lexical knowledge, the common practice and weaknesses in college English teaching and learning.
