| Abstract: | ??This book review deals with comparatively comprehensive analysis and appraisement of the Study of Editions of Ancient Chinese Books on the basis of intensive reading.The author thinks highly of the achievements of the book:originality of opinions;fullness and accuracy of historical materials;closeness of demonstrating;coupling between materials and arguments;perfection of systems;doing scholarly research strictly;directive function for the discipline's development,etc.And the author also points out the original's shortcomings in methodolohy,field of academic vision and retrieval ways.On the whole,the book is a success. |
