| Abstract: | The Chinese language has a long history,and the Chinese words are rich and colorful.The Chinese idioms include set phrases,colloquialism,while the English idioms include colloquialism,proverbs,slams and so on.The English idioms play an important part in the English language,and the Chinese idioms are very important in the Chinese language.English and Chinese are two highly developed language families;both of them have a long history and a large quantity of idioms.To understand the cultural connotation of China and the West,English learners should deepen the understanding of the similarities and differences between English and Chinese idioms. |
