| 摘 要： | 英汉文化是两种不同类型的文化。英语词汇因地理环境、生存条件、风俗习惯等历史形成的文化差异,而使其所表达的意义与汉语之间存在着显著的不同。只有在了解英汉两个民族不同文化渊源的基础上,分析了英汉词汇差异的主要根源,才能准确掌握英语词汇。

| Abstract: | Chinese and English culture are two different styles of culture.Cultural differences between China and England,which have been developed in history,make English words apparently dissimilar due to different geographical features,living conditions,customs and historical backgrounds.This paper analyses the main reasons of cultural differences of English and Chinese words.Only when we have a good grasp of different cultural origins of both nations can we have a good command of English words. |
