| Abstract: | The ＂ Old Friends ＂ is a classic American drama,the dialogue is humorous.Conversation implicature is an important pragmatic theory to analyze dialogue when Grice proposes the cooperative principles.This paper takes the dialogue of ＂ Old Friends ＂as the corpus,by analyzing the conversational implicature to explore the generation of humor. |
