| 摘 要： | 清季官僚董恂在国运衰微的大势中无显赫“政绩”可言 ,却在文学领域作出了可观实绩。其任三口通商大臣 ,总理署治事期间 ,曾因亲手翻译美国诗人郎费罗的《人生颂》 ,而成为“具体介绍近代西洋文学的第一人”(钱钟书语 ) ,在中国文学史和中外文化交流史上都值得书写一笔。

| Abstract: | Dong Xun, a bureaucrat of the late Qing Dynasty, had few illustrious achievements in his official career but more in literary field. He became the first one who had introduced the western literature just because he had ever translated Ode to the Life by an American poet, Longfellow. Therefore, he deserves to be known in the history of Chinese literature and international cultural exchange. |
