| 摘 要： | 全面建设小康社会，是党的十六大提出的奋斗目标。江泽民同志曾说过：“没有民族地区的小康就没有全国的小康。”新疆作为全国最大的少数民族自治区，肩负着重大的责任。新疆要想加快推进全面建设小康社会的步伐，就必须高度重视民族教育，大力发展少数民族教育事业，为自治区的小康建设提供有力的人才支持和智力保证。

| Abstract: | Building a well-off society in an all-round way is an objective established at the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, toward which we shall work. President Jiang Zemin once pointed out that the whole nation could not develop to the well-off level if the development of regions inhabited by minority ethnic groups did not reach the well-off level. Xinjiang, as a region inhabited by minority ethnic groups, has a major and significant role to play in this regard. In order to speed up the well-off society building, Xinjiang must attaches importance to the education of ethnic groups, which shoulders the glory mission of supplying strong support in talents and information for the accomplishment of the well-off society in regions inhabited by minority ethnic groups. |
