| 摘 要： | 意境是中国古代文论的一个重要范畴,它是由意象构成的,意境的展现主要依靠意象。中国古代的诗歌最注重意境,诗歌创作就是意境的创造。因此,在将这些诗歌翻译成英语的过程中,译者的任务之一就是完整地传达原诗的意境。为此,译者可以采取种种方式对原诗的意象加以处理。具体地说,这些处理方式包括转换意象、浅化意象、细化意象、增加意象和省略意象并加注等方式。
