| 摘 要： | 中原经济区建设是对中原崛起战略的持续、延伸、拓展和深化,事关人民福祉。文章在阐述中原经济区建设的概况及其意义的基础上,分析了独立学院与中原经济区建设相互促进的关系,探讨了独立学院在中原经济区建设背景下的服务功能：一是以学科建设助推中原经济区建设,二是培养高素质应用型人才,三是提高教育质量,四是加强校企结合,五是营造良好的人才成长环境。
