对玉溪师范学院化学双语教学的回顾和反思

摘    要:对近3年来玉溪师范学院化学与环境科学系的双语教学实践进行了回顾和反思.总体来看,用英语作为化学知识的教学语言,不仅可以提高学生的英语阅读、听力及口语水平,扩大学生的视野,而且通过介绍一些前沿领域的学科知识,还可克服常规教材的相对滞后性,提高学生的动手能力,弥补传统教学的缺陷.

Abstract:The paper presented a review and reflections on the past three years of bilingual teaching of chemistry in Chemistry and Environmental Science Department of Yuxi Teachers' College.On the whole,using English as the working language in the chemistry classroom has not only greatly improved student English reading,listening and speaking,but also has brought the students to the recent studies and findings in chemistry,which is very valuable as it can make up some of the drawbacks of our traditional textbooks and encourage the students to develop their practical abilities.
