| 摘 要： | 左宗棠在就任陕甘总督、督办新疆军务期间，对甘肃的社会经济进行了较为系统的开发与建设，主要内容涉及农业的开发与发展、工业的拓荒与建设、化教育事业的丕兴与成效、生态环境的重建与保护等几个方面，并认真加以实施，取得了明显的实绩实效，为甘肃近代经济的开发和发展奠定了基础。研究总结左宗棠开发甘肃的思想和政绩，对今天搞好西部大开发具有重要的借鉴作用。

| Abstract: | Zuo Zongtang developed and constructed the social economy of Gansy in addition to his heavy military and political tasks which he undertook when he governed Shannxi and Gansu and suprevised mulitary affairy of Xinjiang. He earnestly carried out the development in such fields as agriculture, industry, cultural and educational cause and the reconstruction and conservation of ecological environment. Thedevelopmentin the above aspects got the actual nsults and laicl a foundation for the development of modern economy development of Gansu. Studying and summarizing Zuo Zongtang's idea and achievement of developing Gansu is of great use to the development of Western China. |
