| Abstract: | This article investigated the pros and cons of the present network maintenance techniques of computer labs. By rewriting the bootrom of network interface card (NIC), the network boot up sequence is better suited for disk-attached workstation. With the harddisk protect card and the networking remote boot-up, this implementation can realize the network maintenance of computer labs without opening the case. |
