| Abstract: | Autonomous learning is not only a learning style suitable for adult English learners, but also an educational notion. Teachers should foster students＇ consciousness of autonomous learning, stimulate their positive learning motivation, teach them some learning strategies, improve their sense of self-efficacy and create a proper environment to help adult English learners carry out autonomous learning effectively. |
