| 摘 要： | 文章描述了汉英名词复数的表现形式,对比发现:英语名词复数通过形态表达,汉语名词复数借助其它词汇表达;英语以复数标记"-s"为主要特征,表现形式相对单一,汉语复数以数量结构为特征且表现多样化;英语"-s"使用范围广且有强制性,汉语复数标记"们"使用范围小且不具有强制性;汉语个体量词丰富,英语集体量词丰富。文章还从文字类型、语言类型、语法特性及中西思维方面,分析了导致这种差异的原因。

| Abstract: | This paper describes the expression of the plural nouns in Chinese and English.By comparison,it finds: 1) plural in English is conveyed by form while in Chinese mainly by other vocabularies;2) plural in English is featured with"-s" while in Chinese characterized with "numeral+quantifier" structure;3) expression of plural in English is relatively simple while in Chinese relatively various;4) "-s" in English is widely and compulsively used while "men" in Chinese is narrowly and flexibly used;5) collective quantifier in English is rich while in Chinese individuals quantifier is.Furthermore,this paper also analyzes causes of the difference in terms of character types,language types,grammar features as well as thoughts of the Chinese and the western. |
