| 摘 要： | 《玻璃皇宫》讲述的是三代印度-缅甸人和马来西亚人家庭的史诗性故事，故事始于曼德勒被英军攻I垴，结束干象征未来缅甸希望的强大人物（只是简单地描写罢了）——唐·昂三苏其。高什的研究也是史诗性的，大部分知识都不露痕迹地融入到叙述中。和植物学上柚木的亲缘植物（我们惊讶地发现．那是薄荷和马鞭草）一起并连同大象的工作习惯以及凝疽热那令人恐惧的破坏性。
