摘    要:以一个中学教师的视点 ,分析了应试教育与素质教育的矛盾 ;以近年部分全国高考数学试题为实例 ,结合瑞士心理学家皮亚杰的观点 ,阐述了知识的形成和发展的过程 ,及这一过程在培养和提高学生素质中的作用。

Abstract:From the viewpoint of a middle school teacher,this article analyses the contradictions between education for exams only and education for improving students' quality.Then by taking some maths exam questions as examples from the national entrance examination papers and in the light of the view of the Swiss psychologist,this artcle explains the process of formation and development of knowledge as well as its function in cultivating and improving students' quality.
