| 摘 要： | 本文介绍了文化语境的含义和设置的意义,并从社会历史、地理环境、风俗习惯和宗教信仰等多方面阐述了社会文化语境对英语词语翻译所产生的影响。由此阐明在语词的翻译中,译者必须了解不同民族社会文化体现在语篇中的文化内涵,才能使翻译达到忠实原文的目的,真正实现两种文化的沟通与移植。

| Abstract: | This thesis introduces the implication and importance of cultural context and elaborates the impact on the translation of English words the cultural context has from the following aspects：history,geography,custom and religion,etc.During the process of translating,translators must have an understanding of cultural connotation and its reflect on the text structure in order to make the translation faithful to the source language. |
