| 摘 要： | 英语教学是实施素质教育的有效渠道之一,主要是通过英语教学发展听、说、读、写、译等方面的使用英语的能力,培养良好思想道德品质和开发潜能.英语教学应以学生为主体,调动学生的非智力因素,形成以交际能力为核心的英语语言运用能力.营造一个能贴近生活的进行交际实践的学习环境,并充分利用现有的教学手段,努力扩大学生的知识面,帮助学生建构自己的自主学习模式.

| Abstract: | The paper deals with the relationship between English teaching and the quality-oriented education,the contents,and measures of the quality-oriented education to be taken in English teaching.The writer holds that English teaching is one of the effective ways of practicing quality-oriented education.In English teaching,a teacher should develop not only the students linguistic competence in listening,speaking,reading,and writing as well as translating but also their fine moral qualities and bring out their latent potentialities.Teaching English in China should have emphasis laid on improving the students communicative ability.Teachers should make good use of their non-intellectual factors,build up a good learning environment for practicing using English,and communicating in English,fully enlarge their scope of knowledge with the help of advanced teaching techniques and help them construct their own model of learning. |
