摘    要:谭恩美在《灶神之妻》中从一个华裔美国女作家的特殊视角探讨“边缘”文化之与文化多元化的主题。中国母亲的形象表达出作者对中国文化挥之不去的母体情结;文富的形象塑造体现出作者对母体文化继承发展的关注;移民美国的母亲和美国出生的女儿之间的冲突与和解象征着不同文化的相互理解、相互尊重和融和,表达了作家在保持和尊重各民族文化传统的差异性和独特性的同时,寻求多元文化共同发展的美好愿望。

Abstract:In the Kitchen God's Wife, Amy Tan, from her special point of view of a Chinese American woman writer, probes the theme of "marginalized" culture in relation to multi-cultures. The image of a Chinese mother expresses the author's inextricable Chinese culture complex; the portrayal of Wenfu reveals her concern of Chinese culture's inheritance and development; the conflict and reconciliation between the Chinese mother and the American-born daughter symbolize the mutual understanding, mutual respect and harmonious co-existence of different cultures, which conveys her best wishes to seek the joint development of multi-cultures on the condition of maintaining and respecting the diversities and peculiarities of different cultures.
