| 摘 要： | 之江大学作为19世纪末由西方差会组织在中国创办的13所基督教会大学的代表之一,是唯一由美国南、北长老会在浙江联合创立的高等教育机构。其独具特色的课程设置奠定了浙江近代高等教育发展的基础,为近代浙江新式人才的培养做出了不可抹煞的贡献。

| Abstract: | Of the 13 representative Christian universities founded in China in the early 19th Century,Hangchow Christian University is the only higher education institution that was jointly set up in Zhejiang by P.C.U.S and P.C.U.S.A.Its unique curriculum provision has paved a solid foundation to Zhejiang’s development of modern higher education,and contributed greatly to its cultivation of ideologically new talents. |
