| Abstract: | It is 40 years since the Journal of Shaanxi Normal University started publication. The journal has made its worthy contributions to the promotion of discipline construction and the discovery and training of fine talented scholars by constantly adhering to its correct orientation and purpose of running the journal and persisting in raising its academic quality. As a result, the journal has gained a steady growth in its academic and editorial levels and considerably extended the horizon of its academic influence both domestically and abroad. At the turning of the century, the editorial department of the journal should pin its aim at attaining all its lofty objectives as a prestigious journal and renew their efforts to maximize and improve the efficiency of their work so as to produce more excellent works and open up a new prospect for the journal editorship in the new century. |
