| 摘 要： | 从整个中国当代文学发展进程来考察,从1949年建国到1966年文革爆发前的17年时期,是《人民文学》最具权威和影响最大的时期,也是它寻求政治与文学平衡点最有效、同时推出文学新人、塑造文学经典最辉煌的时期。由于《人民文学》所担当的历史重任,它通过现实主义的创作手法来反映社会生活,其审美气质是社会主义现实主义。如同当代文学在建国初期的发展一样,现实主义在《人民文学》上经历了一个从革命现实主义到社会主义现实主义再到浪漫主义与现实主义相结合的演化过程,它所期待的批判现实主义或者是干预现实的现实主义的实践仅是昙花一现。它不仅见证了17年时期当代文学的发展历程,也在实践着自己确立的文学观念、文学范式,引导着中国文学的发展方向和发展潮流。而它在审美气质上表现出的特殊性,对艺术的坚守为其审美带来的影响,仍能给我们很多的启迪,仍然值得加以研究和总结。
