| 摘 要： | 文化意象增加了影视作品翻译的难度,对于译者具有一定的挑战性.功能对等理论强调以读者为中心,强调读者反应的对等,认为译文接受者对于译文的反应要基本等同于原语接受者对于原文的反应.功能对等理论为影视作品中文化意象的翻译提供了一个新的视角,具有一定的指导作用.

| Abstract: | The translation of cultural images in movies is a challenging task. The theory of functional equivalence provides a new perspective for it. The theory emphasizes the equivalence of the readers＇ responses in the source language and the target language. According to this theory, the readers＇ response to a cultural image in the target language should be equivalent to that in the source language. |
