| 摘 要： | 习语是语言的精华,是在漫长的社会和历史发展中逐步沉淀形成的,承载着丰富的文化信息和内涵。习语的形成受到各方面的影响,例如人们的日常生活、历史事件、文学作品、宗教信仰等。英语习语也不例外。本文将以英语习语为研究对象,研究其折射出的基督教对西方文化的影响和塑造。

| Abstract: | Idioms,as the essence of a language,gradually form with the social and historical development.They carry rich cultural information and connotation.The formation of idioms is affected by many factors,for example,people's daily life,historical events,literary works and religious belief and so on.English idioms are no exception.This paper will focus on English idioms and analyze the influence and shape of Christianity on western culture. |
