| 摘 要： | 《告别辞:请勿悲伤》是英国诗人约翰.邓恩最著名的诗作之一。在本诗中,诗人使用大量比喻描绘两人之间的爱情,试图安慰妻子不要应为自己的一时离开而痛苦。一些女权主义读者对这首诗颇有微词,因为诗人似乎将他的妻子描述成了一个依附于丈夫的女人,但更多的人还是对他们真挚的爱情满怀敬意。笔者倾向于后者,以传统眼光赏析本诗,表达了其对诗歌本身及诗中比喻的欣赏之意。

| Abstract: | A Valediction:Forbidding Mourning is one of John Donne's best-known poems.In the poem,Donne tries to comfort his beloved wife because he has to go away from her for a period of time.Some feminist readers would criticize the poem as Donne seems to describe his wife as a dependent woman on her husband,but most readers admire their profound love.The author is among the latter,and reads the poem in a traditional way,and then demonstrates her deep appreciation of the use of metaphors as well as the poem itself in this essay. |
