| 摘 要： | 文章从三个方面探讨了主位推进的语篇功能:语篇主题作为共同主位将语篇各部分联系在一起;主位推进过程中新旧信息的相互转化保证了语篇的衔接和连贯;而最佳主位的选择确保了所传达信息的可及性。将主位推进理论应用到英语写作教学中有助于提高学生的写作能力,首先,确立语篇主题为各段落句子提供一个共同主位;其次,选择好单个句子的主位,即信息和主位推进的起点;最后,选择相应的主位推进模式来组织语篇。
