| 摘 要： | １８４０ 年以后， 中国体育逐步向着早期现代化转变。以借鉴租界体育为契机， 强兵富国为目的， 吸收西方近代体育模式， 缩短了中国与世界在体育上的差距； 但当时尖锐的民族矛盾， 又不可避免地使中西方体育发生碰撞， 使体育与政治斗争紧密联系在一起， 将运动场变成了双方意志和自尊的较量场， 这也是中国人民争取民族独立和解放愿望的集中体现。
