| 摘 要： | 英语中的许多词汇来源于法语,法语对英语词汇有着深刻的影响,造成此影响最重要的原因之一即诺曼底 征服。法语对英语词汇的影响主要表现在政府、宗教、法律等方面,至今法语对英语词汇的这种影响还在继续。

| Abstract: | A large quantity of English words originated from the French language, as French has a strong influence on English vocabulary. One of the influential factors is the Norman Conquest. The impact of French on English words mainly manifests itself on three aspects, that is, words on government, on church and on law. And now the influence is still going on. |
