| 摘 要： | 通过文献资料、逻辑分析等研究方法探讨了当代体育教育的国防功能。在分析大国防观的基础上深度探讨了体育与国防的关系,基于此提出了挖掘和发挥大国防观下当代体育教育的国防功能：顺应当代体育发展新趋势,寻求体育发挥国防功能新的契机;顺应大国防时代新要求,大力发展全民体育教育,为未来战争准备高素质兵员;贯彻大国防观,深化体育教育与国防教育的结合,把国防教育融入体育教育之中。
