摘    要:面向21世纪,中国学校体育要转轨,首先应是观念上的转轨,即由手段论体育观向目的论体育观的转化,实现体育的社会、政治需要转向人类追求健康幸福生活的根本需要,它是对人类自身的尊重,也是体育最本质功能的回归.目的论体育观的提出,是和我国由应试教育向素质教育转化的提法相一致的,因而在我国学校体育的课程设置中出现了许多值得我们认真思考和借鉴的问题.

Abstract:The reform of PE in China's schools first requires notional change, which means a change from the concept of PE as means to the one of PE as purpose, and a fundamental need to utilize PE to seek a happy and healthy life for man rather than use it as a political or social means. It is a natural return to PE's essential function and a respect for human being. The notion of PE as purpose agrees with the transition from exam education to quality education, and provides some useful references to the curriculum programming.
