| 摘 要： | 结合大学英语教学大纲的要求和我院大学英语教学的实际，探讨了针对我院体育教育专业学生设置专业英语课程的必要性和可行性，指出设置专业英语课程对于贯彻大纲要求，保持和提高我院学生英语水平都具有现实意义。并就改革现行大学英语课程设置，端正学习风气等问题作了进一步的分析。

| Abstract: | Subject-based English (SBE), which is required by the College English Syllabus, is the major concern of this article. The analysis of College English teaching and learning at our institute indicates that the SBE course is both necessary and feasible for majors of physical education. SEB teaching is of great significance especially to students of an institute of physical education. However, before SBE is possibly integrated into College English teaching, what needs to be taken into consideration is reforming the current College English teaching program of the institute. |
