| 摘 要： | 在中国古代，“民”和“族”已经普遍使用，并已确立了族类划分的主要标准。合成词“民族”概念是个舶来品，其含义深受社会达尔文主义和前苏联民族理论的影响。只有在深刻领悟马克思主义民族理论与中国民族实际相结合的出发点、落脚点和着力点的基础上，在“因地制宜”和“与时俱进”两个维度中，才能更好地把握“民族”概念的中国化内涵。
