| 摘 要： | 西方的公私观念只属于政治哲学范畴,公私关系是对立统一的。传统中国的公私观念则既属于政治哲学范畴,又属于道德哲学范畴,公与私道义上的对立,源于古代中国政治与道德的内在冲突,源于中国的专制政治。了解了这一点,才能有对公共利益与私人利益、公共领域与私人领域以及公德与私德的正确理解,才能明白我国当前道德建设的重心在于社会公德的培育。

| Abstract: | The public and private concepts in the Western culture are discussed mainly within the political philosophy category, and the relation between the public and the private is the unity of opposites. In traditional Chinese culture they belong to political philosophy category as well as to the moral philosophy. The opposites of the public and the private in morality originated from the internal conflicts between politics and morality in ancient Chinese despotism. This is basic to correct understanding of public interests and private interests, public sphere and private sphere, and public morality and private morality. It also helps to understand why the current morality construction focuses on cultivating social public morality. |
