| Abstract: | In terms of denotation and connotation,this paper makes a contrast between similarities and differences of the word 'spring' in Chinese and English language.On the other hand,it analyses the national culture and psychology implied in Chinese word 'spring' and expects English learners attach much importance to the disparities in Chinese and English words during trans-cultural communication. |
