论罗斯金的美育思想

摘    要:罗斯金是欧洲工艺美术运动的理论奠基人和精神领袖,对艺术设计与美学有着深入的研究,其论著中包含着丰富的美育思想。罗斯金肯定自然事物本身生命力的美,认为艺术表现自然有助于增强其审美价值和美育作用,重视艺术家的能动性和情感表达,强调艺术的道德准则和精神追求。罗斯金从其所处的社会现状出发,对机器大生产给人和艺术造成的负面影响进行反思。为减轻人的痛苦和使艺术脱离困境,他反对艺术的机器生产和机制饰品,认为机器的模仿和批量生产是毫无生命力的,提倡由人创造的艺术,并主张通过艺术教育使人获得健康高尚的灵魂和幸福快乐的人生。

On Ruskin's Aesthetic Education Thoughts

Abstract:Ruskin is the theoretical founder and spiritual leader of the European Arts and Crafts Movement.He has an in-depth study of artistic design and aesthetics,and his works contain rich ideas of aesthetic education.Ruskin affirmed the beauty of the vitality of natural things themselves,and believed that artistic expressions are naturally helpful to enhance their aesthetic value and aesthetic education role,attach great importance to the initiative and emotional expression of artists,and emphasize the moral norms and spiritual pursuit of art.Starting from the current situation of his society,Ruskin reflected on the negative impact of people and art caused by the great machine production.In order to alleviate people's pain and get art out of the predicament,he opposed the art production by machines and mechanical ornaments,believing that the imitation and mass production of machines were lifeless.He advocated art created by artists,and proposed that people could obtain a healthy and noble soul and a happy life through art education.
