| 摘 要： | 教师的专业素质发展是大学英语教学改革成功的关键,也是学科长远发展的关键。对北京地区艺术体育院校展开调查,考察了这些高校大学英语教师的教育背景、对学生英语学习的认识以及教学理念等情况。研究结果表明1)目前艺体类院校英语教师教学任务繁重;2)教师年龄分布和性别结构不合理;3)教师的教学观念、教学模式不能较好地满足学生的需求。建议加大艺体类院校英语教师的培养力度,切实提高教师的教育、教学和科研水平,以确保教学改革顺利进行。
