| 摘 要： | 体育作为一种社会现象,受整个社会背景的制约,同时也对周围的人类社会产生显著的影响。由于社会转型加快,中国农民的价值观正在发生前所未有变化,这种变化集中表现为农民的本体性价值、社会性价值与基础性价值的观念转变。当前,在新农村建设中倡导和建立具有时代特征的正确的价值观念,既十分重要,也十分紧迫。体育在现代农村社会,乃至未来农村社会发展中将表现出多种功能属性,为农村社会的诸多方面服务,其中包括对农民价值观的积极影响。因而,在建设社会主义新农村的主题下,正确、全面的认识体育与建设社会主义新农村的关系,既是体育服从、服务于农村社会发展的需要,也是体育在农村实现自身健康、良性发展的需要。
