Abstract: | Obvious tendency was found with the optional exercises of parallel bars by elite gymnasts in the world.Main types of exercise to make up a complete set of optional exercise were swing forward or back ward in crossrest or in upper arm hang, flying movements and swing in suspension, among which the most widely used subtype exercises were swing forward and turn in cross rest, handstand and 36O forward roll, swing forward in suspension and backward somersault to handstand. Combining exercise were movements of the same type gradually became the main pat tern of combination of optional exercise. |
