| 摘 要： | 民族传统体育是我国悠久历史发展的产物，是中华民族文化的一个组成部分。它产生于劳动人民长期的劳动、生存和生活实践，伴随着多民族文化的相互交融和渗透而不断发展。它除了具有现代体育一般的属性外，同时具有历史、传统、民族和交融的社会特性，鉴古观今，我国民族传统体育在不同的历史时期发挥出了自身显著的教育功能、民族凝聚功能和弘扬文化的功能。

Approach to Social Characteristics and Functions of the Chinese Traditional Nation Sport |

| Abstract: | The traditional nation sports is a product of the Chinese long history, and a component of theChinese national culture. It came from the long--time work, struggle for existence and life practice of thelabouring people, and continuously developed, accompanied with the blending and osmosis of the multinational culture. Besides the general properties of modern sport, it includes the social characteristics of history, tradition, nationality and blending. By reviewing the past and examining the present, the Chinesetraditional nation sport has been playing an extraordinary role in different historic periods. It has broughtinto play the function of education, function of the cohesion of the Chinese nation and function of expanding culture. |
