反思外语教学与语言教师的自身发展

摘    要:教师在教学改革中起着举足轻重的作用。语言教师的理念影响着他对教学途径的选择和教学课堂的行为。学习者的自主性发展在很大程度上取决于教师职业的自主性发展。所以说,语言教师不能仅凭所学的语言知识和基本教学技能从事教学,教师应重视认知能力的培养,注重从自己的教学实践中探寻、归纳和研究教学理论,增强对教学的理解,真正成为问题的解决者和决策的制定者。

Abstract:Teaching quality plays an important role in educational reformation.Language teachers' teaching approach and classroom practices are decided by teachers' beliefs about foreign language teaching and the development of autonomy in learners depends largely on the development of autonomy in teachers.So,language teachers should pay more attention to developing language teachers' cognitive ability to explore,to induce and to study their own theories about language teaching rather than just teaching materials,teaching methods and learning process.It is through this way that ELT teachers could better understand ELT and be reflective teachers,decision makers,researchers as well as teachers.
