| 摘 要： | 现代奥林匹克运动诞生之始,它就与教育息息相关,教育功能就一直被视为奥林匹克的精髓。2008年北京奥运会的成功举办,为高校进行奥林匹克教育提供了良好契机。通过奥林匹克教育,必将对当代大学生在新的时代及竞争激烈的环境中表现出的思想品德和人文素质的缺失,起到良好的教育作用,促使他们从外在的身体到内在的人格得到锻炼和提高,以更加良好的姿态迎接时代的严峻考验。奥林匹克进入高校是时代发展的需要。
