| Abstract: | A quantitative image analysing system for metallography is presented,which includes the hardware totake digital image and the software for grain analysis.Algorithms about rectification of background,binariza-tion,split of grains,statistical analysis are presented too,Furthermore,a few applications of the svstem aregiven. The system is fast and precise for measurement,flexible and easy to use,and simple for maintenance. |
