| 摘 要： | 基于中国工业企业微观数据考察了企业专利申请类型的选择,在此基础上构建bi-probit模型,深入分析规模、产业竞争及研发投入对企业专利申请类型的影响,研究发现,企业规模和产业集中度促进了企业的发明专利和实用新型专利申请,且对发明专利的影响更大;研发强度促进发明专利的申请,但与实用新型专利申请负相关。在此基础上提出企业专利战略选择和我国专利制度改革的政策建议。

Analysis of Determinants of Invention and Utility Model Patent Applications: Evidence from China |

| Abstract: | The application of different patent types is a crucial part of the patent strategy, which is of great significance to the innovation activities and industry competition of enterprises. Based on the micro-data of Chinese industrial enterprises, this paper studies invention and utility model patent applications, and analyzes the impact of firm size, market competitiveness and R&D intensity on patent applications by constructing a bi-probit model. The results show that firm size and industrial concentration promotes both invention and utility model patent applications, which has a greater influence on invention patents. Moreover, high R&D intensity is positively related to invention patents, while negatively related to utility models. On this basis, this paper proposes suggestions on the patent strategy of corporates and policy recommendations for the reform of China''s patent system. |
