| Abstract: | This paper with the aim to arouse the English learners＇interest in the context knowledge and place their great importance to the study of context, trying to make use of the researches on context and showing examples, mainly discussing the influences of context on word＇s meaning from the aspects of social context, situational context and personal context etc.. It is hoped that this paper would be helpful for English learners to master exactly the meaning of a word and know how to use it properly. |
