| 摘 要： | 中国民营企业普遍存在着研发投入不足的现状。以2006年的全国民营企业调查数据为样本，实证分析了外部制度环境对民营企业研发投入的影响。回归结果发现：知识产权保护、政府服务对民营企业的研发投入有显著促进作用，民营经济竞争程度、政府管制对民营企业研发投入则有显著消极影响。研究表明，良好的外部制度环境将能促进民营企业的研发投入，从而进一步作用于其技术创新活动，这为民营企业的研发投资决策，以及政府的制度建设都提供了积极的理论借鉴。
