| Abstract: | The paper elaborates the meaning of characteristic collection and discusses the necessity and principle of constructing characteristic collection in local teachers college library. It takes Nanjing Xiaozhuang University Library for example to introduce ways of characteristic collection construction from six aspects： discipline characteristics, local characteristics, Tao Xingzhi research resource construction, mutual cooperation, external resources construction and digital characteristic collection resources construction, and points out issues which should be paid attention to. |
