| 摘 要： | 李根源先生是名重天下的云南乡贤典范，其阅历丰富，博学多才，能文能武，在中国近现代政坛上、文坛上都走得很远。其一生非以教师为业，却与教育有缘，热心家乡的教育事业，开创了云南军事教育的新天地，培养出了朱德等一批著名的军事家；开创了腾冲职业教育的先河，使腾冲教育上了一个台阶，对云南教育发展影响巨大。

| Abstract: | Mr. Li Geng- yuan was one model of the village notables in Yunnan. He was a learned person with rich experience and multiple talents, and was able to wield both the pen and the gun. He was famous both in modem political and literary arena. He was not a teacher, but enthusiastic the education of his hometown. He initiated a new world of military education in Yunnan from which some famous military strategists such Zhu De graduated. He founded a vocational school in Tengchong county, which promoted the development of Tengchong education and had a great influence on the development of Yunnan education. |
