| Comparing Chinese and English Anger Metaphors from a Semantic Perspective | |

| 摘 要： | The thesis targets at a preliminary comparison of anger metaphors between Chinese and English. Compared in terms of container metaphor and containment schema from the perspective of cognitive semantics, the anger metaphorical expressions of the two languages are observed to be of differences as well as similarities. |
