| 摘 要： | 本文运用英汉比较的理论探讨了英语定语从句的翻译方法。如果定语从句结构简单,就直接翻译成汉语的定语结构;如果定语从句结构复杂,就应该灵活运用其他的方法来处理,如重复先行词、译成状语从句等方法。总之,不管英语定语从句结构是否复杂,都要翻译成正确的汉语习惯表达法。

| Abstract: | This paper explores the translation techniques of attributive clauses from English to Chinese by means of a compara- tive study.The attributive clauses can be translated into Chinese attributives if they are simple.If the attributive clauses are not simple but complicated,they should be translated into Chinese in other ways,of which are the Chinese repetition of English antici- patory words,and the translation into Chinese adverbial clauses.In a summary,attributive clauses should be turned into right Chi- nese expressions. |
