| Abstract: | The making of rhetoric devices is always classified into and described as speech sounds, semantic meanings and modes. Rhyme as the device of phonetic expression shared by both Chinese and English is set up just for the music atmosphere of the languages, which is achieved by the natural harmony and sweet sounding of speech sounds. In term of this, the author tries to compare and sort out the rhythmic modes between Chinese and English. |
